We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Gabriel De Almeida to the Upstream team as a Senior Software Engineer.

Gabriel started his career as a founder of BooklyBox, a monthly book membership with an online community of reading enthusiasts.

Through his love of books, he was able to enhance the reading experience for thousands of members by creating a community focused product. BooklyBox was acquired by Quartery.co in May of 2017.

Gabriel joins us from Storj Labs. In his previous roles and independently, he developed open-source software.

We’re lucky to have gotten to know Gabriel over the years in his role as an engaged Upstream community member and NFT Community event attendee.

Previously, Gabriel studied at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst in Amherst, MA.

Based out of West Palm Beach, in Gabriel’s free time you can find him reading, strength training, watching sports, and fantasizing about buying a farm.

We couldn’t be more grateful to have Gabriel on our team. Please join us in welcoming him to the Upstream.

If you are interested in joining our team — please email us at [email protected].
