New Feature: Polls for DAOs

Exciting news! You can now take a poll in your DAO on Upstream. Polls make it easy to take a quick pulse of the DAO’s sentiment and get answers fast.

You can choose how long the poll will last and can see results immediately. It's an easy way to engage with your fellow community members.

Whether you're trying to figure out if anyone in the DAO is attending the same conference as you or if you're trying to measure appetite for a future proposal, polls are a helpful tool for DAO admins and DAO members alike.

Here’s how to make a poll:

1. Go to your DAO dashboard by clicking the home button on the upper right-hand corner
2. Choose the DAO you want to make the proposal in
3. Click “Create Poll”
4. Add your question and choices
5. Specify the poll’s duration (how long you want the poll to last)
6. Click “Confirm” to set the poll live

Once the poll is live, it will be automatically shared in the DAO’s chat AND added to the proposal screen on the DAO’s home page.

Your poll lives among the other polls and proposals.

Polls are available on both mobile and web. Results are available in real-time for members to see. Polls do not need to reach quorum for you to see results.

You currently cannot edit a poll, but you can cancel the poll and repost it.
