We’re excited to share that we’ve streamlined the process to create a proposal within an Upstream Collective.

Proposals are important because they enable decision-making within the Collective and make it possible for the community to take action.

By simplifying this feature, we’ve reduced the roadblocks to both setting up a proposal and getting votes.

The updated feature allows Collective members to easily choose between 5 categories of commands. We’ve also made it possible to group several commands under one proposal, so community members don’t need separate proposals for each command.

To easily find the different commands, we’ve divided them into 5 different categories:

  • Assets
  • Members
  • Settings
  • Signators
  • Wallets

From there, you fill out the necessary information needed for the proposal. For example, some commands might need the amount of ETH and the members involved.

Then, you can add multiple commands into one proposal, by clicking the “Add Command” button.

Lastly, you add a title and description for your proposal, and you’re good to go!
